Introduction

The ISIR Institute successfully concluded its third cohort of the Research Skills and Culture Training Workshop on May 4-5, 2024, at the Ambassador Hotel in Hargeisa. This event focused on enhancing the skills of mid-career researchers in advanced research methodologies and cultural competencies, both essential for effective research practices.

Participants engaged in hands-on sessions covering quantitative and qualitative methods, data analysis, and ethical considerations, the workshop emphasized the importance of cultural awareness and communication, equipping researchers to navigate diverse environments. Attendees had the chance to connect with fellow researchers, fostering collaboration and idea-sharing for future projects.
